Texas = Miami?

I was thinking about this last night and I think Texas is a mirror image of Miami.

A nice school in a nice city with nice academics. But, they play in a shitty conference and no one wants to watch them play.

They can recruit but overall they are not relevant. Who really thinks that Miami is going to be in the playoffs in the next 3 years?
