1) The only place that the constitution mentions the issue in in Article 1 Section 2 where representation is based upon head count of citizens plus 3/5 per head of slaves. Got it!

The rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights make no mention of the so called 3/5 person. They are rights of all.
2) the constitution defines the way to change the constitution by Amendment, See Bill of Rights.
3) The constitution was amended (13, 14, 15) to abolish slavery, grant citizenship and rights to slaves ( or former slaves).
So, I get it ... when the country was formed we had slavery, but the Constitution provides the framework of freedoms and mechanism for change.

Quick question. Are you still outraged at the hundreds of countries across the globe that do not have a Bill of Rights and still have open slavery today? They’re all across the continent of Africa and South America alone. Are those countries next in your ire or just the one who fought a civil war, elect leaders of all races and genders, created the best opportunity for all races and genders, has people from all over the globe who can’t speak the language dying to become citizens and when they get here become a success, and had it written into the original founding documents the framework to once and for all get rid of slavery?
