The ASU win seemed nice at the time, but ASU has proven to not be very good in the subsequent games. We go on to struggle somewhat with Nevada, and squeek by an ARK team coming off home losses to Toledo and Tech. At this point, what are we? Well we are certainly better than ARK, but a case could be made that we are still 5th in the SEC West. Auburn does look bad, but we may not look any better against LSU and I fully expect LF to have 200+ yards on the ground against us as well...
My power rankings through 4 weeks:
1. Ole Miss - still has the best win out of the group
2. LSU - two conference wins, arguably has the best player in NCAA this season
3. Alabama - still a great team from top to bottom
4. MSU - most experienced QB in the conf and good coach, no reason yet to put them behind A&M
5. A&M - 4-0, but who have they played?
6. AUB - Looks bad on both sides of the ball so far, no reason to think they win a conf game
7. ARK - not a terrible team, but off to a tough start, I still see a couple conf wins for this team
Good news is that A&M plays everyone ahead of them so they will get a chance to make there case, but as of right now, at this very moment, this is where I would put them in the pecking order...
