I understand that there is some renovation going on at your place. When will it be completed and if not in time for this season, how much seating will be lost by the project or will it? I know seats a scarce but wondering if more so. TIA

Redevelopment of Kyle Field

It will actually be larger this year.
If you look at the rendition that Chile shared, we can use that to update you.

The far sideline is the student section. They redid the first level and extended it closer to the field.
They did a lot of other work including towers at each end of it, adding a big screen on one,
and redoing the guts underneath the stands.(this is a simplification).
The south endzone on the right of the picture is new this season, vs bleachers last season.
There will be the largest TV in college football on top, and this will take seating to 106K+
for this season only. They are also installing 3 TV Studios within the endzone for the SEC Network broadcasts etc.
After this season, the alumni side(closest in the picture) will be demolished and rebuilt
with lots of premium suites. That along with the ADA and Code rules on width of seating
will bring it down to its final capacity reportedly 102,512 in 2015. There will be a 3rd TV on another of the
towers. The renovation cost $450M+ $12M for the studios mentioned
Also, the student center (called the MSC which is a war memorial so please take off your hat when entering)
at one end was recently renovated and enlarged at over $100M. This is across the street from the end of the stadium
not being touched as its only 10-15 years old.
At the other end of the stadium, the football complex has been renovated and overhauled. Net Weight facility, Nutrition Center
and an additional $16M update for pretty much everything a recruit or player sees. That work is complete from what i hear.
