currently bought a "box" sub woofer and have it hooked up wireless so I can move it into a closet as it's a little unsightly, when not in use. It's sounds pretty good as my living room is pretty big and opens up to my kitchen/breakfast. I'd rather not have to take it out when I want a deep rich sound to watch a movie.
Have ceiling speakers and the subwoofer adds the deep thumping sound like a theater.
Right now I have it centered along a wall and sounds pretty good. I had it placed in the corners and not so much.
Anyone recommend some subwoofers that can be installed inconspicuously? I have a room above my living room so no attic space. Installing on ceiling is not an option (if that is even an option). I do have 2 bookcases on each side of my fireplace which has attic access.
