Sum and Spav seemed to put it a little of that on the QB's failed recognition, but that ultimately can go back to initial playcalling and coaching. They never said they played horribly, but they never said they played well (outside of Gennesy).
So what do you think the main problem / problems were/was?
- they just aren't that good
- Oline coaching / scheme prep
- QB's not recognizing and calling Audibles
- Mike Matthews not recognizing / communicating
- ASU's exotic scheme for which maybe no one could prepare
- Spav's initial playcalling no matter the failed Audible recognition
