Hellish Rollercoaster Ride
This was at my neighbors house (a few lots down from us). I happened to hear it while I was outside putting some stuff in my truck. Then heard someone screaming to call 911.
It’s a cable-actuated trolly on a rail system that comes down the cliff about a hundred yards at about a 30 percent slope. Apparently the cable broke or the winch went into free spool. 4 women were in it. All lucky to be alive. Hopefully I never have to see another incident like this again in my life.
All four with varying severe breaks and compound fractures laying in cactus under or partially under a mangled steel trolley. All the emergency vehicles had to come through our property to reach them. It was quite a Saturday on this part of the lake.
