This last Tuesday night I was walking back from my shop and just crossed over the driveway when something hit my foot. It felt like about 5 scorpions stinging you a once. I figured it had to be a snake. Went into my house and grabbed my shotgun with a flashlight attachment and figured out real fast I had just been bit by a copperhead. I shot the snake and my wife drove me to the ER. I was not given any anti-venom just pain pills. The swelling has gone about mid way up my calf. Just wondering if any of you guys have been through this and know the recovery time frame? Thanks
