SEC Basketball

[Aggdaddy]

Looking to be educated. Just when and how did SEC basketball become what it is currently? Seems like historically you had Kentucky, Florida occasionally and that was it. I don't remember Alabama or Auburn ever really focusing on basketball and now they are 1 & 2, same with TN. Maybe it's always been good and my head was in the sand. Thoughts?
