How do people give them information? I got a call earlier today and it went like this:
In a thick accent: "Hello, I am a computer technician and I have been getting computer virus sent from your computer. Are you in front on a computer?"
Me: "Yes I am. Would you like for me to start with my SSN, or maybe my account numbers and passwords to my bank accounts, and then finish with my credit card numbers and their security codes?"
Scammer: Long pause...."I need to fix your computer. Do yo have access to a computer in your home?"
Me: Big laugh and click.
