They were at ACL, and both put on a fabulous show. The first act was a young cat named Matthew Curry. I wasn't that impressed with his band, although they played a retro-early 70s style. Felder was next, and it was like the best of Eagles, with his exceptional sidemen. The Doobies invited Curry up to jam with them, along with Big Ray Benson. That young cat can play the blues! He's 19 years old, and reminds me a lot of Kenny Wayne Shepherd. I've also read comparisons to SRV and Hendrix.
