R.C. Slocum is the 'last one of those guys'
It will be a long time before another figure spends half a century working for a program the way that Slocum did at Texas A&M.
I joined the Websider board the last month of his coaching career because I wanted the scoop on what was going to happen. I have stuck around since then. I thought it was time when we let him go, but I always respected him. After reading this, I have more respect for him.
