so we all agree that Putin is a dictator and evil for invading Ukraine - I know I do even if we dispute underlying causes.

I assume we also agree that Maduro from Venezuela is a dictator too. I know he is.

Guess what he is holding a referendum to do to his smaller neighbor, Guyana? If you answered, invade and take over Essequibo that has been disputed for over 200 years between the two countries.

Guess who just recognized Maduro as the "democratically" elected president of Venezuela? If you answered Joe Biden, you would be correct.

Why would Maduro do this NOW after 200 years of dispute? Elections are next year and oil reserves

Why would Biden do this for a close ally of Putin? He lifted the sanctions on Venezuelan oil to keep gas prices low for elections next year.

Why would Maduro thumb his nose at the USA so blatantly? Because he has Biden over a barrel. If he attacks, oil prices spike, gas prices go up, Biden's approval rating will sink lower going into elections next year.

How do supporters of Joe Biden feel about him supporting/recognizing/lifting sanctions on a known Putin ally and dictator who may invade a smaller neighboring county?
