Wife and I were trying to have a nice quiet lunch this afternoon, but the place was packed with parents who had brought their kids along with them and were allowing them to run rampant through the place.
I had just finished a bacon appetizer while my wife enjoyed some chips with cheese dip. Was looking forward to trying the angus beef sliders when a woman in a wheel chair grabbed the plate right before my eyes. Next thing you know there are three kids pushing in front of me to grab the remaining sliders. The whole rest of the meal was like that. You look like a chump if you push the kids away or grab something before they reach it, but you’re standing around forever if you don’t stand your ground at some point. Sams has really got to do something about this.
I did get a kick when one of the rugrats snatched a piece of Earl Campbell sausage links fresh from the electric griddle right from my hands only to burn the roof of his mouth though.
