Got a ticket from a OK State Trooper for 82 in a 65, the only options are to pay the fine or show up in court in Idabel. They only have traffic court one day a month and it's on a Wednesday at 9am. I've gotten accustomed to just taking deferred on the one ticket a year a get but it looks like that would require a trip to court to accomplish.

I'm assuming the only other option is hiring a lawyer to ask for deferred for me? Anyone have experience with this in OK? If so is 17 over eligible in OK?

The clerk at the court provided zero in the way of guidance other than "Pay it or show up on your court date"
