Kind of following Mark' leads on where he sees positions groups, I really have to wonder what schemes we end up with. In previous stops, Durkin has had both stacked rosters and ones he had to finagle. So has Petrino. Both coaches have mixes they can pull from each stop. I wouldn't be surprised to see some old school, I Formation mass protect play action deep posts from Bobby, followed up by a lot RPO quick game and then up straight up power sweeps or counters out of one or split backs with FB or even Tight ends leads. Lot of options. For Durkin, he should build his castle on the guys up front. No need to be overly tricky. Get best players being where they should be. Your gap. Plant your flag. No one is getting through or around. In fact, I am coming to see your backfield but I coming the smart way and in the gap that is mine so my flanks are protected. I think all this will really help the LBs stay disciplined, if they can read, trust and don't get overanxious. I'm also very interested to see how all new pieces in secondary fit together.

Gig'em!
