The timing of this one is a shock. I was talking to some A&M sources yesterday and they indicated that the Aggies had made a very strong move during last weekend's official visit. I didn't think too much of it, figured that was basically to be expected but Texas would get its shot to counterpunch this coming weekend on its OV. Now, that may not happen (I've got a message out to KJ to see if the Texas visit is dead).
The question ... what does Texas do at RB now? Ezavier Crowell is still out there but he's been thought to be an in-state battle between Alabama and Auburn. Does Texas now go all-in on Crowell? Would that even be enough?
Amari Latimer was tentatively scheduled to visit Texas at one point, but canceled that trip and is trending towards Wisconsin.
The ship has almost certainly sailed with Javian Osborne after the way things went down, and with him being committed to Notre Dame.
Texas offered Carsyn Baker recently but he committed to Florida last weekend.
Derrek Cooper is still uncommitted but he's supposed to be on a Penn State visit right now before visiting Ohio State this weekend.
