Cowboy Cartel, based on the non fiction book and audiobook Bloodlines. It's about when the Zetas Drug Cartel infiltrated Quarterhorse Racing in New Mexico (Ruidoso) and began laundering drug money through the races and horse purchases. Rigged the All American, overpaid for all the best horses in the race horse sales in New Mexico and Oklahoma. The were even running some horses through Southwest Stallion Station outside of Elgin I believe...it was run by Charles "Doc" Graham's ('61) son, Tyler. @Reckless75 probably knows the story pretty well. It's on Apple.
We have not watched the docuseries yet, but Bloodlines was one of the best Audiobooks we've listened to on our RV trips. Plus my dad use to have racehorses at Ruidoso in the late 70s, so it was particularly interesting to me.
