My little sister (43) is a single mother of two wonderful boys (14 and 11), the youngest being totally blind. She also teaches first grade.

Angela was diagnosed with an abnormal EKG and at the urging of her cardiologist, went to the hospital to have further testing. A day after an angiogram revealed no blockages, Angela went into cardiac arrest and needed lifesaving efforts performed by amazing doctors and nurses. It is a miracle that she is still with us. Once stable, doctors implanted a defibrillator/pacemaker combo device. After many days in ICU, Angela has moved to the cardiac rehab floor. Doctors expect that she'll spend several weeks in rehab before being allowed to go home. She's made amazing progress, but her road to recovery is going to be long and difficult.
While we are still uncertain of how long her recovery time will be, we do know that she needs our help. She's facing massive medical bills not only for the time she's spent in the hospital, but for the long term care that she will need. We don't want Angela to focus on anything other than getting better and there is no need for her to stress about money when she has so many people that love and care about her and are able to help.
Angela is a super mom to two boys, an awesome teacher and a wonderful friend. So much of her life is about giving to and providing for others, that it's time for us to help take care of her.
No amount is too small and every little bit helps. Your donation is appreciated more than words could ever express. All money raised will go directly to Angela to help with her bills and medical expenses.
