This season's X-Files had a very funny episode -- the answer to Reckless 75's truth.
In the episode an alien told Mulder and Scully to meet at a certain location and they would be given the "truth". When they arrived, the space explorer, Voyager, crashed back to Earth near their location --- it even had the recording attached. A few minutes later, the Alien arrived and explained, "We have watched your species for hundreds of years and found that you have discovered the one thing no other species do --- you lie. Therefore, we will have nothing to do with you and have returned your attempt to communicate with us. We will now build a big, beautiful, monumental wall around your universe. It will be invisible but it will stop all attempts to reach our borders. You will not be able to send your drugs, your rapists, your gangs, and your undesirables --- a few might be good people but we must stop all immigration . It will be a wonderful wall all around your universe.".
