Texas and Texas A&M could end up battling it out for the 2026 four-star linebacker from Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial but his weekend visit to College Station could give the Aggies an edge. Keeping the momentum will be important as Notre Dame, Ohio State and others are involved but the Aggies are definitely making a big impression.

"It was loud," King said. "Louder than any other game I've been to.

"The fans never sit down and they cheer the whole game. The fans cheered the team to a win and the guys played lights-out football. It was a good win. Met with coach (Mike) Elko and coach (Jay) Bateman before and after the game and we talked about the team and how good they are playing. And we also talked about how my season is going and how I fit in their system. The win was good but the fans made it great."
