I have seen a lot of questions on Bo Wallace about what kind of player he is and how good he is and I figured it would be easier starting a new thread than going back and answering each question.
When I was in Los Angeles for the Semper Fi game back in January, Wallace was there as a member of the East team. I had originally planned to spend the day watching Kirk Merritt and doing an interview with him to see where he stood on A&M. Merritt did not go to Los Angeles, but the previous day it was announced that John Chavis was going to be the defensive coordinator at A&M, so I decided to go out to Fullerton and watch some Louisiana defensive players on the East team to see if any of them would be players that A&M might try to make a run at. Wallace stood out to me on the East team as one of their top defensive players and thought he could be a guy A&M might take a run at. Wallace and I spoke and he had told me LSU was making a late run for him, but he was not interested and was set on signing with Notre Dame.
Wallace reminded me a lot of Richard Moore, the only difference was I thought Wallace had a little more length to him than Moore and maybe a little bit faster, but Moore was bigger than Wallace. He is more of a Jack linebacker than anything else and was going to be a defensive end at Notre Dame so he has been putting on weight and could be in the 215-220 range right now.
