I actually know Alli (the subject of the article) from her playing on a National Championship div3 volleyball team with my daughter at Wash U in St. Louis. She is a great kid and a hell of an athlete. Obviously she has other qualities as well.
I will say there is a big difference in how one views these things when you know the person and have daughters.
