If Ole Miss gets a first down from anywhere the game is over so field position isn’t a huge issue. We kicked deep, give it to them on the 25 and get the stop. They pinned us on the 8. Granted the punt wasn’t fielded, but really what is the advantage of kicking deep. So they punt from the 30 instead of the 45? For a 1 in 4 or 5 chance at getting the ball right back I just cannot understand that trade off.
