I am trying to decide between these to lakes to purchase a lot or weekend getaway. I would like to hear about these to places as I have not spent much time on either, but have somehow convinced myself these are my to best options.
I like Limestone simply because it is closer to me, an easy drive to C.S. for games, and generally cheaper than Livingston therefore I can afford to put more into the house for the family get together occasions. Limestone also seems to be a good fishing lake, however the water levels seem to fluctuate a great deal.
Livingston, is closer to my kids and grandchildren (Houston), not a bad drive to CS, and offers everything there is to do on water! Seems to me that Livingston is a little more scenic and the property owners put a little more into there places. It's also a little more expensive, therefore would limit my budget on the house to a smaller more economical type place.
Anyone with any thoughts on these two places, I would like to hear them.
