Went to play Sugar Creek CC in Sugar Land today. We got there about 30 minutes before our tee time so I decided to hit a few range balls.
Well right next to me was a guy fully decked out in Longhorn gear. He had a longhorn bag, shirt, pants, hat, and even shoes.
I wanted so badly to play dumb and ask him if his team played yesterday and ask how they did. It would have been great to listen and watch as he told me how terrible they were. Instead, I was nice and just said hello.
Well, later on #4, I hit a 7 iron from 162 for a hole in one! I really think it was good karma for not rubbing that guy's nose in it. Or, it might have just been a great swing of that 7 iron.
