Second half - 47 yd TD drive; 127 yds; 2 punts, TO downs, 1 INT, 1 Pick Six INT
With such a performance how could the outcome be any different? If offense sells tickets there were some refunds asked for after the game.
Defense : B
First quarter - 79 yd TD drive, 68 yd TD drive; 197 yds; 2 punts
Second quarter - 0 offensive points; 32 yds; 3 punts
Second half - FG from TAM 15, FG from TAM 3; 147 yds; 4 punts
The Chief’s boys looked like SEC Championship Contenders for the last 3 quarters adding 6 sacks. If defense wins games this bunch did their part.
Special Teams : A+
First half - 68 yd TD punt return; 55 yd FG, 50 yd FG, missed 53 yd FG;
Second half - forced fumble; blocked punt; 35 yd FG
They were special on Saturday providing all the points either directly or setting up the offense. If Special Teams wins Championships this crew shows that the Aggies have all three phases of the game under control.
I expect the Aggies to bounce back and go into the LSU game with a chance to tie for the SEC West championship.
