I am about to start hiring for an open position on my team and thought I would get the word out here to our network.
I run the Network Operations Center for a major healthcare software company. What we have open is another slot on my team for a Network Operations Analyst. This is a pretty intro level spot. What I am looking for is folks that are recent grads or have a few years experience working in the tech industry that can do troubleshooting of Network and Server performance. Knowledge of Server 2008/2012 is required, any experience with monitoring tools and powershell is a plus. This job is in Plano off of Legacy. This is great job for someone young wanting to learn everything about an enterprise level IT infrastructure and wanting to move up in that career. You get your hands in everything from Virtualization, Active Directory, Enterprise Grade Storage, problem and incident management, and performance analytics. There is an expectation for hires of this role to move on to other teams within our Enterprise Technology Services group as they gain experience and preferences in a specific field. It's a great launching pad for a career in IT.
If you know anyone interested please have them contact me at todd.ward@aggienetwork.com
Thanks!
