How would you react to this situation:
You have been sitting with your 4-year-old and 2-year-old for 45 minutes trying to get them to go to sleep (traveling and in a new setting, but not really relevant).
You walk out of the room with the kids still fussing with the intent of letting them wear themselves out.
Father-in-law sees you leave their room and starts to go into the room. You explicitly tell him, "Do not go in there."
You go to the restroom and come out a couple of minutes later to find out that he is in the kids' room. The house is not his, but a place my dad owns (again, not really relevant).
Thoughts?
Interested to see what others say, and then I will let you know how I reacted.
