- Dwight Howard never defends past 13ft from the bucket. Screw covering Bogut and his high screens. He can't shoot.
- Go over the top on every screen. They kill you with the 3, if you go under and cut to the bucket, if you go over...let them cut to the bucket with Howard in waiting.
- Put Ariza on Klay Thompson. Curry will get his. Keep Thompson contained and you have a shot.
- Make Curry shoot 2's. He is brilliant at coming off a screen with the ball, dribbling a step & a half inside the arc towards the bucket, making his man commit towards the bucket, then dribbling back behind the arc & lighting it up...tell your defender to never commit towards the bucket and beat him to the arc before he has a chance to dribble backwards, instead. (This way he shoots an 18 footer or deals with Dwight at the bucket).
- Pray
Even with all of this, I think the Rockets will be lucky to see 6 games. But you never know, as this team is slowly starting to gel.
