I checked on some acreage available to lease in SW Kent County, north of Snyder. They are asking $9-10 an acre for up to 4300 acres (several options from 1300 and up). Electricity available, but not water. Some breaky cedar country, mesquite flats and more shinnery country. Game includes everything but quail. I manage country in the area and know there's potential for 140" deer with deer over 160" harvested in the area. It's been a while since I priced leases and I was expecting $6-7 range. Anyone know if what they are asking is reasonable or high for the area?
