I CANNOT wait for Thursday... College football will be back and we get to kick it off in front of the entire nation. So many story lines for this game with Life After 2 of the best QBs to play for their respective schools.
Word to the wise: It will be HOT in Columbia. I know Texas gets hot but Columbia really will shock you as to how hot it will be. Make sure to have a tent and shade for tailgating. The area surrounding the stadium is very open and has almost no shade. Columbia basically "bakes" in the heat all day and the air doesn't move the way it does in other areas, so it can really roast you.
I'm excited for a great game and an opportunity to encounter a new SEC fan base. I know it's a long trip for you guys. I am an attorney in Charleston and will actually be taking off the entire day to come up to Columbia for the game (not exactly the same as coming all the way from Texas but still not an easy task).
