There's a discussion on another board about why DBU's RPI (2) is ahead of A&M's RPI (5) . Basically, our non-conference games are hurting us. But, it also seems like the SEC is not getting as much credit as the ACC and the Missouri Valley Conference. Really??

Seems strange to see two non-power conference schools DBU (2) and Missouri State (8) on par with A&M (5) and LSU (4) in total RPI.
Also, Miami being #1 in RPI is also strange, because they basically played other ACC schools, which have significantly higher RPIs than SEC.
Strange calculations and doesn't seem to pass the common sense test with ACC and MVC being at the level of the SEC.
Perhaps a college baseball expert can weigh in and enlighten.
