House Receives NABC 2nd Team All-District Accolades[/B]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced Friday the NABC Division I All-District teams and Texas A&M's Danuel House was honored as a second-team performer.

Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes and coaches represent the finest basketball players and coaches across America.

Playing his first season in Aggieland after transferring from the University of Houston, House emerged as one of the SEC's most explosive and consistent scorers. The Fresno, Texas, native ranked fourth in the SEC by scoring 16.2 points per league contest while also ranking second in the league by averaging 2.7 3-pointers made per game and third in 3-point shooting at 41.1 percent.

For the entire season, House paced the Aggies in scoring at 14.8 points per game while shooting 41.7 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond 3-point range. He was named SEC Player of the Week on Feb. 2 after averaging 17.5 points and shooting 72.7 percent from 3-point range during wins at Auburn and at home vs. Vanderbilt.

Earlier this month House garnered first-team All-SEC honors.
