Great college coaches build programs, not teams. I believe Sumlin is a program builder. Both a visionary and a Saturday tactician. We were ahead of the curve with Johnny and then maybe fell back after he left. But today he has built the depth, the character, the facilities and the recruiting pipeline to make the program successful for the long-term.
I think we need a little luck this year to get us to 10 wins or more and we will have the momentum, the talent, and the swag to make 2016 and 17 great years. A win against Bama, Ole Miss, and / or LSU will be the spring board to taking the "program" to another level.
Not saying we can't get there if we go 9-3 and lose to the top tier teams. But that puts on a gradual rise and I'm looking for program accelerating wins.
We have great talent with the "IT" factor on this team with Myles, Christian, Kyle, Daylon, and Kyler. If we can keep the Arizona pipeline going and establish the Tate pipeline it would be huge
More on this later. Have a meeting to go to.
