Hope you're well. I wasn't real sure which way to turn here, but here is my issue: I bought one of those ergonomic sculpt keyboard/mouse combos ... Well, I really liked the keyboard and such since I do a ton of writing, but while I was out of town, my three year old put the USB fob in the trash. Well, I call Microsoft today to replace that fob (since Logitech allows you to buy a replacement for about $10), and Microsoft informs me that the fob is very specific to that product and, for instance, you can't buy a new mouse only and have it work with the existing keyboard/mouse.
Anyway -- is there anything on your end that you can do to get me a new fob? I informed the Microsoft person on the other end there's zero chance I'm spending $150 again, and if that's the case, that I'll just take my business for peripherals and such to Logitech in the future. The person on the other end didn't seem to care at all.
