David Freese, who was the hero for the Cardinals in the 2011 World Series against the Rangers, declines a bid to join the teams HOF. It doesn’t appear he’s jaded or angry with the organization and is in fact still strongly affiliated with Cardinal nation. So, why would someone decline an offer to join their teams HOF? I can’t find anything as to why and it’s got me a little perplexed. Any thoughts from the gallery?
