Ever walk into a business and think….holy shit, this place is a piece of crap, but could be a goldmine with the right management?

With the exception of football, basketball is the only other sport that is potentially profitable for a university. Being a university with a well above average business school, how can we not treat the sport from a business standpoint and try to excel?

Bowtie saw the potential in football and made the decisions necessary to excel…at least from a business standpoint. How can we be so short sighted with the potential of a high quality basketball program?

It makes absolutely zero sense to me that we didn't even entertain some of the high quality coaches available over the last few years, coupled with a strategic marketing plan to build organic fan support and become a legit bball school.

I do believe that the customer is always right…..lack of fan support obviously indicates the current crappy product is not what the customer wants. How bout changing the product?

What am i missing? Am i naive in my thought process?
