Thinking of early voting for the first time. For some reason I feel more comfortable voting on Election Day. Feel like there is less of a chance of someone monkeying around with my vote. It’s sad that I don’t trust my government enough to feel 100% confident in my vote being counted the way I want it
I’ll admit it’s likely not rational. I should likely do some of the same investigation to see what the actual process is. It just seems to me that it would open its to fraud the longer it sits there. Election Day is cut and dry but I do want to beat the crowdsGetting in and out on off hours without waiting in much of a line is a plus.
But to the point of monkeying around with a vote- with respect to the machines, you think there's a possibly different setup during early vote that is different on Election Day?
I haven't actually looked closely into how a vote is tallied on the machines from input to output. Worth looking into though now that I'm curious.
Voted today early for the first time. Feels good to get it over with. Now just sit back drink beer and watch the show
Probably. Was super easy and done. I moved from Austin/Travis county to Dripping Springs/Hays County so that’s a factor but it was nice to get in and outDo you think you'll go forward voting early from now on? I can't go back to Election Day chaos.
That’s what happens when your County Clerk enables voting and voter turnout.I voted the 2nd day of early voting in Houston and it took me 12 mins start to finish. It was awesome and I will never wait till Election Day again
