Meanwhile, sip fans buying in to the hype (false hopes) from guys like Chip Brown that Mack is stepping down and other orange folks with "inside reputable sources" that "Saban is a done deal" after Mack is forced out. Hahaha...Saban wasn't ever coming! He would have needed his head examined to leave a once in a lifetime program and dynasty, that continues to have the top recruiting class (es) in the country, come rebuild tu. LOL...was NEVER EVER going to happen! Anyone that believed such should also have his/her head examined!

Next round of comedy? The horns have a date with Oregon in the Alamo Bowl.

This morning Chip Brown was on the radio with his spin and attempting to perform damage control. Paraphrasing, here are a few juicy nuggets from ol' Chippy Boy...

Mack blamed press leaks, got angry, word got to Saban who then immediately signed his extension.

Was told that Powers would fire Mack and Patterson would hire the next coach (Saban)."

Said that the Saban thing has been in the works since last summer

Big money guys at tu are pissed and think that they got played. They wanted a smooth transition and thought Mack was on board with calmly stepping down as Saban came onboard


Hahaha...as you can see, the teasip arrogance and delusion knows no bounds.

NFL Media columnist Michael Silver reported Sunday on NFL Network's "NFL GameDay Morning" that Harbaugh has told his superiors with the 49ers. One source told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport that Rapoport has a better chance of coaching Texas next year. (Note to Texas: Rapoport does not know what a zone defense is.)

A source close to Tomlin, meanwhile, told Rapoport that that Tomlin's inclusion on the list is "absurd." Tomlin's name occasionally has been rumored for college jobs, but there has been no indication that he wants to move on from his job with Pittsburgh. Tomlin is fully expected to be back as the Steelerscoach next season.
