So back in January a friend of ours (also an Aggie c/o 06) who is a surgeon in north Texas was flying home with 2 of his 3 boys on a Sunday afternoon from a hunting trip in South Texas and their plane crashed and killed all 3.
He left behind 1 son, Collin and his wife. It has been very tough as you can imagine for Collin.
Anyways, fast forward to this week and it is Collin’s bday on Thursday and some friends reached out to the A&M football staff and they sent him videos singing happy birthday and messages from the whole team and from Coach Elko. It was Awesome!!!
Coach Elko has also invited Collin to be the 12th man for the spring game!!!
Not a lot of smiles for that kid the past couple of months but his face was lit up with excitement and joy from this.
