I am currently in the Physician Assistant program at UT-Pan American, soon to be UTRGV. Our organization, the Julian Castillo Association of Physician Assistant Students, is hosting the 4th Annual JCAPAS Golf Classic on October 10th. Do not worry, I made sure that this is a bye week! The goal of our tournament is to promote the physician assistant profession, build relationships within the community, as well as raise money for our community service projects and class events.
We are currently seeking donors, sponsors, and teams for the event. There are multiple levels of sponsorship and many opportunities to donate including hole sponsors and raffle prizes. The tournament will be a three man scramble, $300/team. This will include green fees, carts, range balls, two beers, a gift bag, and a meal at the end. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, closest to the pin, longest drive, and many door prizes. These include yeti coolers, golf bags, golf clubs, and much more. There will be mulligans available for purchase as well as a Tiger Woods Hole which shortens a 600 yard par 5 to 250 yards.
