After 14 years (first job out of school) i was informed last week that my position (director of sales) was being eliminated nationally. Not angry at all as it makes sense for the company to do after the recent restructuring as there was a lot of duality in my role and my boss's. Company provided me an opportunity to find something internally or take a package. I've decided to take the package and test the job market for the first time since coming out of A&M.
