Spent last evening with a former Bama all Confrence LB'r from the early 90's who with is town and is good friends with my brother in law.
He was very impressed with the atmosphere, said it was a good as any he's seen.
Commented on the crowd giving the O problems calling plays and the penalties it caused. Said that is pretty rare for it to really get that loud to have that kind of effect.
On the game he, without prompting commented on how open the middle of the field was and could not believe we did not attack it more. Said he knew Saban would go all out to minimize Kirk and we should have attacked the middle.
And then the other Captian Obvious point was that you won't beat many good teams and none in the sec with 43 rushing yards.
Made another comment that has been said here. He said when Auburn hired Gus he was thrilled because that would mean they would continue to be soft on D. Said to be a great D you have to practice against physical O's. Again, points all made here but thought I would pass them along.
