Well, it wasn't a perfect win, but then again few ever are. The Aggies handled visiting Mississippi State Saturday night to the tune of 30-17.
Several players stood out and directly impacted the game for the Aggies and AggieYell will now hand out game balls for some of the top performers.
Kyle Allen - The offense bogged down in the second half but Allen had yet another solid night with a very solid first half when the game had yet to be decided. He finished his day with 25 of 41 for 322 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was also very effective at times on the ground, finishing with 67 yards on the ground.
Brandon Williams - Williams had his best game yet at cornerback and looked like he very much belonged on the field as an SEC cornerback. The stat sheet only shows he finished with 4 tackles and two PBU but he consistently had good coverage all night.
Christian Kirk - Kirk seem to have really settled in nicely with Kyle Allen and gets targeted a lot. That is likely due to his skillset and the comfort level from the two Arizona standouts. Kirk finished his day with 8 catches for 77 yards. He also added 4 rushes for 17 yards and continued his effectiveness in the return game.
Myles Garrett - What else can be said about this guy? For the second week in a row he comes up with a very good game and includes a huge play when they needed it most. He finished the day with 7 tackles, 1 sack, 2 TFL and the key forced fumble.
Josh Reynolds - Reynolds finishes his night with a very solid stat line, 7 catches 144 yards including a couple big catches on key plays to keep drives going. Although he didn't find the endzone in the win he did average 20 yards a catch.
Honorable Mention - Tra Carson (I'm adding this but he probably deserves to be up top), Armani Watts
