I watched the game again and in addition to my comments on another thread, here are a few things.
In the first half we had 3 possessions around the 10 yard line; one was at the 10, 6 or 4 and one around the 11.
All three of those possessions were very conservative play calling and resulted in punts. Curious if the staff doesn’t completely trust him yet.
Also, there were a handful of plays that he did not see that would have kept the chains moving and a few more that would have been TD’s. For sure one of them.
I’m not criticizing Reed at all. He is doing above what you would expect through two games as a starter.
I expect him to be much improved this weekend.
