A pair of transfers at new schools Louisiana were featured in ESPN's new Class of 2017 basketball rankings released Thursday.
Chalmette center Mitchell Robinson, who transferred from Pensacola, Fla., and Lafayette Christian wing Galen Alexander, who spend last season at Breaux Bridge were ranked as the No. 39 and 54 players in 2017 respectively.
The 6-foot-11, 215-pound Robinson is also rated as a four-star prospect on Rivals and holds offers from Tulane, Troy, Murray State, Alabama, UAB, Massachusetts and DePaul.
Alexander, 6 feet 6, 215 pounds, made a name for himself this summer playing with Louisiana Elite after averaging 19.2 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, 2.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game last season with Breaux Bridge.
LSU, Tulane, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, Cal, USC, Houston, Oklahoma, Nevada, UAB and Texas A&M have all extended offers to Alexander.
