My daughter is considering taking a job with a large oil/gas company in Dubai as a contract attorney. She is 27 and a pretty well schooled world traveler. However my wife and I are obviously concerned about her taking a job in the Middle East. I am fairly familiar with the riches and that Dubai looks like a Las Vegas in the desert. Have any of you lived there for any length of time? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I understand that western women, in particular, are more susceptible to harassment in the UAE.
