30 years for the attempted murder of Paul Pelosi. Shortly after his arrest DePape had this to say about the attack:
"Now that you have all seen the body cam footage, I have an important message for everyone in America: You're welcome . . . The tree of liberty isn't dying. It's been killed systematically and deliberately. The people killing it have names and addresses. So I got their names and addresses so I could pay them a little visit and have a heart-to-heart chat about their bad behavior. The tree of liberty needs watering. We need men of valor. Patriots went and put their own lives on the line to stand in opposition to tyranny. I would also like to apologize. I want to apologize to everyone. I messed up. What I did was really bad. I'm sory I didn't get more of them. It's my own fault. No one else to blame. I should have come better prepared."
