COLLEGE STATION, Texas –[/B] Following an impressive junior campaign on the hardwood, Aggie guard Danuel House has announced that he will be returning to Texas A&M for his senior season.
“I’ve made the decision to come back for my senior year,” House said at the Aggies’ end of the year banquet Monday night. “I’m looking forward to competing for a championship next season and getting my degree.”
Among the many accolades bestowed upon the Fresno, Texas, native during his first season in Aggieland after transferring from the University of Houston was a selection to the All-SEC First Team by the league’s coaches as well as a spot on the NABC All-District 21 Second Team.
House emerged as one of the SEC's most explosive and consistent scorers in 2014-15, ranking fourth in the SEC by scoring 16.2 points per league contest while also ranking second in the league by averaging 2.7 3-pointers made per game and third in 3-point shooting at 41.1 percent.
For the entire season, House paced the Aggies in scoring at 14.8 points per game while shooting 41.7 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond 3-point range. He was named SEC Player of the Week on Feb. 2 after averaging 17.5 points and shooting 72.7 percent from 3-point range during wins at Auburn and at home vs. Vanderbilt.
